Innovation

A procurement system, which was later sold to a major automotive data provider. This system gathered and normalized vehicle information obtained from multiple sources over various acquisition channels to fulfill customer orders. It combined web crawling technologies with a data adaptation engine using various AI techniques to identify and enhance vehicles (500,000) obtained through incomplete and inconsistent feeds (0.7% rejection rate). This data was retrieved through a fuzzy matching retrieval system. A new XML vehicle exchange format was created to facilitate communication with partners.
A handheld-based application to allow buyers access to order bank and targeted purchase lists. The success of this application was recognized by AvantGo in a customer profile and by the Strategic Research Institute.
An Integrated Network Management prototype which, upon presentation to Iridium
LLC's board, allowed Motorola to engage in a $20M project.
An Air Monitoring System used by the Space Biosphere Ventures for more than 4 years.
A raster graphic microprocessor emulator in 2 months. This system allowed Hughes Aircraft to start developing custom software microcode while the hardware was actually being built.
